Mike Turtur, race director comments: "With a European style atmosphere
and look the race returns to King William Rd, Unley.
Following the now traditional Unley Street Party held the night before
the stage, the riders will start in King William Rd before winding their
way through the suburbs to the freeway and through the Heysen Tunnel.
The big factor in this stage will be the late climb at Newland Hill which
comes in the last 36km of the stage.
The route along the coast road from Goolwa to Victor Harbor has proved
to be a favourite with spectators."
