In his first year of open competition in 2000 defeated Shane Kelly to win the National 1km title,
won the Olympic sprint and finished second in the Keirin. Competed in Holland last year and now
with the AIS in preparation for Commonwealth Games and World honours.

The 19 year old Bathurst express is one of the most versatile cyclist in Australia today. Current
2001 National time trial, teams pursuit, scratch race, points and madison champion and silver
medallist in the individual pursuit. Equally at home on the road and the most exciting talent
in Australia. Winner of the rider of the Qantas Cup series in 2001 and Goodwill Games winner.
Steve Wooldridge
24 year old Engineering graduate, the St. George star recorded one of his best ever season last
year winning three national championships, the Madison, Teams Pursuit and Individual Pursuit.

Rochelle Gilmore
20 year old dynamo from Helensburg. The most versatile female cyclist in Australia, Won the Bay
Series criterium, 2nd in World Cup in Australia and New Zealand earlier this month and final
stage of the 2002 Tour de Snowy. 2nd World Cup points in Italy, 2nd in Malaysia in 2000 and
2nd in World Junior Points Champion-ship in 1999. Female rider of the Qantas Cup Series 00 & 01.
Katie Brown
19 year old cycling star from Menai. National Junior champin in 2000 and winner of the 2000
Olympic Youth Championship. Contested world junior championships and finished second in a
Junior road tour in Switzerland.

Mark French
Age 17 years 2001 - Dual World Junior Champion in Sprint and Olympic Sprint. Keep a close
eye on this young cyclist as he is all class and will make his presence felt as a senior world
champion.
Jason Niblett
Age 19 years - 2000 & 2001 Represented Australia in the World Junior Olympic Sprint Championship.
Dual World Champion. Jason could become the fastest standing lap cyclist in Australia within
the next two years and is also a fast and exciting sprinter.
Rodney McGee
Age 28 years - 1995 World Teams Pursuit Champion in Colombia. 2 Bronze medals at the Junior
world championships. Making a come back to top track cycling and won National Madison title
last weekend in Melbourne.

Age 23 years - 1995 and 1996 Bronze Medallist at the World Championships. 1997 - 2 Silver
Medals at the World Titles. 1998 - Silver & Bronze Medal at the Worlds. 1999 - Silver Medal
at the Worlds. Olympic Medals - 1996 Atlanta Sprint Silver Medal & 2000 Time Trial Silver Medal.
Olympic Record for the 200m Time Trial. Commonwealth Games two Silver Medals.

Age 23 years First Australian Female World Champion, staged in Italy in the 2000m Individual
Pursuit in 1997. Top class endurance cyclist.

20 year old Perth Speedster. Member of the WAIS/AIS team. Current World Keirin Champion
(Belgium 2001). 2000 dual World Junior Champion in Sprint and Olympic Sprint. Second National
Sprint Championship 2000 and 2nd World Olympic Sprint Championship 2001.
Brodie Cullen
19 year old World Junior Track Representative and WAIS member. Second National Teams Pursuit
(Junior) and 2nd National Junior Scratch Race championship. Current 2002 WA Keirin Champion.
Peter Dawson
20 year old National Track Endurance Squad member. 2001 member of the National nder 23 Road Team
in Italy. 1999 World Junior Team Pursuit Champion and second in the World Points Race
Championship in 2000. Won Australian Junior pursuit and points title in 2000.
Kristine Bayley
18 year old and another great speedster from the West. Winner of the National Junior Sprint
Championship in 2001 and second in the 500 metre time trial. Seventh in World Junior Sprint title
Won Women's Austral Wheelrace and WA Keirin title in 2002.
Kerry Cohen
29 year old - Winner of all four State Championships in 2002, Sprint, Pursuit, Time Trial and
Points Race. 2001 finished 3rd National 10k championship and winner of State 500m time trial
title. Raced in USA in 2001

Chris Klem
Age 25 years from Townsville Currently a Cycle Shop Proprieter. Has represented Queensland for
many years at the National Championships. 2002 Queensland Kieran Champion. Representing in
Launceston and Brisbane only.
Danny Day
Age 29 years - from Brisbane currently on a QAS Scholarship. Employed as a Product Manager with
the Bank of Queensland. - Former National Time Trial Champion. Sprint - World Championship
Medallist / Tandem and Team Sprint. 2002, Queensland Time Trial and Sprint Champion.
Representing in the Qantas Cup in Sydney only.
Wade Cosgrove
Age 17 years from Blackwater/Central Queensland and relocated to Rockhampton. QAS Scholarship,
Currently a TAFE Student. Former National U/17 Time Trial Champion. Currently living and training
in Brisbane with the QAS Squad. Gold Medallist 2000 Youth Olympics. Queensland Sprint and Time
Trial Champion.
Daniel Rynne
Age 20 years from Brisbane. Is employed as an Apprentice Carpenter. 2002 - second Queensland Time
Trial / third Sprint Kieran Gold Medal Team/ Sprint Gold Medal.
Kerrie Meares
Age 19 years from Middlemount/Central Queensland and relocated to Rockhampton, AIS & QAS
Scholarship and Is currently living and training in Adelaide with the AIS. 2000 - U/19 World
500 Time Trial Champ. Current triple Australian Champion Sprint, Time Trial and Scratch/
fifth World Time Trial Championship.
Anna Meares
Age 18 years from Middlemount/Central Queensland and relocated to Rockhampton QAS Scholarship,
Works part time with the National Bank. 2001 - World 500m Time Trial Champion and triple National
Junio Champion. 2002 - Queensland Sprint & Time Trial Champion.

Age 25 years - Multiple major wheel race winner including the Austral 2002. Silver medallist
Australian Madison 2002, Australian Team member for Goodwill Games and Cali World Cups in 2001.

Age 23 years - Regular A Grade track cyclist and State team member. Winner of minor wheel races
in Tasmania Christmas carnivals. Representing in Brisbane and Sydney only.

Championships. Representing in the Qantas Cup at Launceston only.

Belinda Goss
Age 18 years - Multiple Australian Champion on the road and track including current titles

junior for 2002.
Louise Yaxley
Age 20 years - Bronze medallist in the 2001 National Pursuit Championship. She has finished
in the top 4's in the National Points scratch race and the Oceania Championships in 2001.

Age 18 Years - 2001 Junior World Track Champion as a member of the winning Olympic sprint team.

Age 18 years - Current National junior pursuit champion. Multiple National Champion in road and
track events in the junior ranks. Burnie Wheel race winner 2002. Australian team for track 2001 -
fourth in Worlds Team's Pursuit. Representing the ACT in Launceston only.
Simon Camroux
Age 25 years - second year of track racing. Comes from road racing. Is developing his track
skills this year. An endurance rider.
Brendan Savage
Age 23 years - Second year of track racing. Comes from road racing. Is mainly an endurance rider
and is adding some more experience to his track racing this year.
Rebecca Ellis
Age 22 years. Had two years off from racing because of glandular fever. National junior
championships 1998, several medals, bronze and silver.
Lucy Stewart
Age 17 years - National junior championship 2001. Several medals in the U17 sprint events. A
very competitive rider who is gaining a lot of experience this year competing against senior
riders.
