Preview

This is a relatively easier stage, although in the morning the cyclists will climb more than 350 metres over the first 21 kilometres before descending for the next 48 kilometres. The race will be fast and can also put riders under pressure, especially if there are cross winds blowing at the time.

The finish is a hectic race and has been a haven for Mirjam Melchers, a winner of three stages in Tumut. Mirjam outsprinted the field to win last year's stage and will certainly know the way to the finish line.
